Highland Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in West View, Pennsylvania.
Highland Country Club first opened for play in 1920. Highland Country Club was designed by Dutch Loeffler, James Harrison was the first to redesign the course in 1954, Edmund B. Ault in 1961, and Ferdinand Garbin followed with another redesign in 1986.
Highland Country Club was constructed on the homestead of Revolutionary War soldier Casper Reel, who is buried next to the 18th tee. This tight course has long par 3's. The terrain is rolling and heavily wooded. This is a fun course that will challenge even the most experienced golfer.

The financially troubled club closed October 3, 2011 and had been the subject of multiple lawsuits from creditors.
Shortly before closing, Jeff Garbinski, one of the partners in the management of the country club, pleaded guilty to stealing from the club. He was sentenced to spend 18 months on house arrest followed by two years probation and ordered to pay $174,088 in restitution.
Heartland Homes purchased the former Highland Country Club in 2012. The golf course will be divided into 316 lots, featuring a combination of townhouses and homes. Work is expected to start June 2013 and estimated to take 6 years.
